Decent value, few snags

The driver didn't offer much explanation. Onboard snacks and drinks weren't available as advertised on that leg either, which was a minor disappointment. In my experience, FlixBus buses tend to be a bit newer and cleaner than Greyhound. Plus, the WiFi usually works better. But honestly, for that long of a trip, both are gonna be a grind.

Most of the time a carry-on size bag and a personal item (like a backpack) are included. Just make sure the carry-on isn't huge, like airline overhead bin sized. If it's too big they'll make you check it.

As long as it fits under the seat or in the overhead bin (if they have those), you're usually good with a backpack and a small carry-on. I've never had an issue with that combo.
